SSKM plays music from every genre, including rock, metal, pop, jazz and traditional Japanese-themed songs. The band is formed by kerii on vocals, kai and maru on guitars, jin on bass and tsubaki on drums.

This site is maintained by kerii and will feature news, updates, and info on the Marmosets as well as exclusive interviews and much, much more! Also featured is a full discography and complete lyrics of all SSKM songs.

Plastic Trees

Walking under the sun,
the red light blinding my eyes.
I should be happy,
but the sky is too
dramatically blue.

Foolish papier-m�ch� flowers
smiling at me
throwing their petals
at my feet.
They rend themselves to pieces
for my pleasure.

All the plastic trees
I want to cut them down,
melt them with the fire
that is raging in my heart.
Is this a dream,
or am I running
in the small space between
reality and illusion?

This pounding in my head,
like black waves upon the shore,
tells me I'm alive.
But how can life be
so beautifully marred?

The imperfections are more precious
than a flawless,
sparkling jewel.
I want to
hold them in my arms
and not let go.

This chimera we call life,
I want to smash it
into shards and lay
the pieces where all the world can see.
This is a dream,
but I am running
under the sun
amidst the perfect, plastic trees.
