The game became so popular that it convinced Konami to created a follow up.  Now many believed that the sequal not live up to expectations. Not only did SUIKODEN II live up to expectations, but surpassed its predecessor.  With new and better graphics, spells, and an addictive music album, SUIKODEN II was a crowd pleaser.

WELCOME TO KABOLD VILLAGE!

This site is dedicated to spreading the word of SUIKODEN to the world. In the time when the final fantasy series was ruling the RPG gaming world, Konami created a small RPG game of their own to compete with the more succesful final fantasy. Not very much was expected of the game, but it quickly became a hit, spawning cult like followings. The game was called SUIKODEN!
What makes SUIKODEN so enjoyable, is that you never get bored because there is so much to do. Finding the 108 stars would be a primary objective, but the mini-games like the 'cook offs' and 'finding hidden secrets' help keep the game lively and bring variety. There's so much to do!

Also the games plot and storyline are very thought provoking. You never know which way the plot is heading ( I'd never of guessed that jowy would become the highland leader). The plot always takes you somewhere new and always brings about a few suprises. The storyline makes you feel like your apart of the game. I can't believe I almost cried when Nanami was killed! Old favourites from suikoden I (Flik & Victor!!!!) and the new characters are cleverly moulded in to the story line and contribute to the intense atmosphere of the storyline.

Overall the game is very enjoyable and I recommend you try it if you haven't already done so.  I eagerly await the arrival of SUIKODEN III.
