EMILIANO
TRIA TIRONA (1883 – 1952)
REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LONE DISTRICT OF Cavite for
three terms under the American regime, Emiliano Tria Tirona was elected to the
national Assembly in 1943 under the Second (Laurel) Republic. From the Assembly
he was shifted to the cabinet, becoming minister of health, education and
public welfare in 1944. he was succeeded by Carlos T. Viniegra in the National
Assembly.
