AGAPITO CONCHU, 34, was no doubt the most versatile of the Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite. A native of Binondo, Manila, he was a public school teacher, musician, documents about his association with either Freemasonry or the Katipunan. How he got involved in the planned uprising is nowhere explained. Dumped into a common grave in the Caridad Catholic cemetery, his remains were exhumed and interred in the Cavite monument to the Thirteen Martyrs.
