I'm sorry I havent updated this in a while, but here's a list of what happend in my absence. Nampor, Maku's moon, is colonized and the Space Ranger Corps. was founded. Kaasha looks for his lost father. He finally finds him, only to see that he's dead. Kaasha avenges his father by killing Harold, a skeleton warrior summoned by ancient necromancers. Sahzmera dies, but before he does, he gives Kaasha his power. The 'Juggernaut' project is started. Sahzmeara's brain is put in the first juggernaut. An organization known as the "Pure Ones" teamed up with the Praetorians to make an assault on Maku. The Makuian empire on Maku falls by their mammoth numbers. Kaasha and everyone else of importance flees to Nampor Command. Nampor Command was attacked by the Pure Ones and the Praetorians. Nampor falls to the enemy. Kaasha and everyone else launch an escape pod to uncharted Maku. The Makuians rebuild the empire in a vast and lush rainforest. |
The first of the four ages of Maku. The city of Maku was built, the citizens were content with their environment, and the first empire was born. The first emperor, Manakaa, was a great leader until a few decades when he was corrupted by power and predominance. He sacrificed the citizens to the Maku Tree, although it didn't want any sacrifices, he plundered and sacked many villages for money he didn't need, he even had 472 citizens as slaves for his power. The citizens didn't tolerate this anymore and decided to revolt; they asked the legendary heroes: Tumaaxa, Menas, and Uumanox, to help them overthrow the empire. When they heard about this, the heroes became enraged by their idea and destroyed many small villages for protection of Manakaa. The citizens were terrified because they had no weapons to fight the imperial soldiers because of Manakaa's cruel laws. Almost all of the villages were destroyed and/or sacked and plundered. Luckily for the citizens, the Bionosians, a race hell-bent on total destruction of Maku, made a heavy assault on the city. The Bionosians were very high tech and because of repeated attacks on the city, Maku called an all-out war. The Makuian Empire didn't stand a chance against the Bionosians' battlecruisers, assault cars, and heavy waves of troops. The Makuians were eventually defeated and the empire was no more.

Mideval Maku was a more complex time of the four ages of Maku. There was no empire as their central government, instead was a monarchy with the one who became king, named Tapau, was also a good leader, but wasn't corrupted unlike Manakaa, he also had a wife named Demeaka; ruling Maku and not too generous and not too cruel, and because of Demeaka, there was a system of checks and balances. This monarchy is very different than the one you know, in this government, the king is an elite warrior in the army. His power comes from the legendary Maku Sword, a powerful sword of dumbstriking power, INSTANT DEATH. His lust for fighting was so overbearing, it lead him to his death. While fighting a battle against a Bionosian fleet, Tapau got ran over by a battlecruiser due to his love for fighting. Tapau's death also lead to Demeaka's by her long vigils in the rainy Makuian days, and the freezing Makuian nights. They luckily had a son named Graenma, who eventually became king of Maku. This was also the year where Kaasha, a young boy at the time, got drafted into the military. His tine in the academy served him well, because years later, became a highly experienced fighter with a sword. as he advanced through the ranks, he's been gaining more and more respect for the army; He eventually became admiral of the Makuian fleet and even controlled a large portion of the army, he was even one of Graenma's most loyal henchmen! Later in his military life, he became more wary of Greanma, thinking he will be corrupt like Manakaa, having no queen to use for checks and balances. which he was eventually right. Graenma became as vile and cruel as Manakaa, Kaasha later found out that Graenma was actually a descendant of Manakaa. He was shocked at this; he panicked, trying to find a way to stop Graenma and free Maku. He talked to the Maku Tree hoping for an answer. He found out that he had to retrieve the powerful Makuian Hero's Sword, a sword not as powerful as the Maku sword itself; He took one of his generals, Richard, to get the other Maku Hero's sword (the Maku Tree said there was two of them). So they set off, to the Makuian plains, through the Makuian Mountains, though Kamaak Desert, and finally to the crevace where the Maku Hero's Swords lie. They were found worthy to wield the swords so they can remove Graenma from his position; Kaasha and Richard one day barged into Greanma's throne, uninvited. Kaasha boldly stated, "Greanma! You have been as selfish and corrupt as that cursed emperor, Manakaa! This will be your final time to live! Surrender and we might spare you! Resist, and be killed by our powerful swords! If you le-", Greanma interrupted, "So, you are the ones who have been trespassing into my personal history! If I can't be king, NOBODY WILL!! GUARDS! SEIZE THESE TRATIORS AND SEE THAT THEY ARE SENT TO THE EXCECUTIONER IMMEDIATELY! THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE KAASHA AND RICHARD! JOIN ME, OR BE KILLED RIGHT WHERE YOU STAND!". Kaasha didn't accept this, and suddenly started hacking and slashing at the guards and warriors. Kaasha then gave the gesture to Richard to attack at full power, and he followed. The guards didn't stand a chance against their swords, and in 14 minutes flat, were all obliterated. Graenma sneered and drew the Maku Sword, slashing wildly at the air in lust to kill them. Kaasha and Richard were parilyzed in fear of instant death that was going to come to them. Graenma was dashing toward them at amazing speed trying to use the instant death power on the sword. Kaasha and Richard were now brought down by fear, but something amazing happened; the Maku Sword's power was disabled! Kaasha and Richard were awestruck by this mystery; they eventually found out that because of Graenma's cruelty, the Maku sword has negative effects, and backfired and killed Graenma immediately. Kaasha and Richard fainted at their relief after Graenma's death. In the end, the Makuian Empire was refounded, making Kaasha the first emperor. Kaasha gratefully promoted Richard to master chief petty officer of the army. This is the end of the second age of Maku.

Conventional Maku was a more advanced time wherein guns were used in the arsenal. Kaasha is still the emperor of Maku, ruling much better than Graenma. He later gained possession of the Maku Sword, giving him more power than he did before. Conventional Maku was the age where Maku had guns invented and patented, giving the Makuians and upper had against the Bionosian army; although a new race has joined the empire, the Karmponas, an average Karmpona was much taller than a Makuian, and also had guns in their arsenal, but more hi-tech. Since the Karmponas also had grudges against the Bionosions, they agreed to help the empire. The Bionosians later found out about their alliance and attacked more than usual, giving the Makuians and the Karmponas more trouble than they had before. Later, the Karmponas traded their guns for Makuian supplies, equalizing their battle strength against the Bionosians making them retreat and not attack anyone for a long time. That is how the Makuians got their guns for this dynasty.
But the Bionosians thought ahead of the trading between the Makuians and the Karmponas, and sabotaged the Makuian supplies, self-destructing when the Karmponas opened them. The Karmponan leader, Kang Ku, was enfuriated about the explosions at the military supply depot, and gave Kaasha a warning about the supplies; Kaasha didn't know what was happening with the supplies, but Kang Ku didn't believe his "lies" and said, "I give you one last chance Kaasha, check your supplies next time you send them, if not, we're gonna have a problem.". Kaasha didn't like the sound of that message and was worried about the possible war. He never commanded in a war before, but he did fight in one, he remembered the tactics that won many battles though, and would use that just in case. |
