The Desert ??? Yes it is fun to explore! |
Most people bypass the deserts of Southern Idaho in favor of the mountains. Yet, there is so much to see and explore. Best way is by ATV or motorcycle and good old fashioned hiking. Grab your lunch, water, sunscreen and a good pair of hiking boots and lets go look around the deserts of Southern Idaho. |

Be careful!!! You never know what (or who) you may run into while exploring Lariat Cave west of Aberdeen, Idaho. This is really Derek "ELVIS" Wonacott. My best friend who got me interested in exploring the desert. |

WOW - look what I found in Lariat Cave. Not really - this was taken in Honolulu while having dinner with Uncle Mickey and Aunty Priscilla. Besides, if this is what I was finding in all those caves and on my mining claims, my wife would take away my GPS, mining equipment, radio equipment...!!! |
