Mr. Ruffles
Here's Mr. Ruffles with his pal, Scruffy.
This is old Ruffles, trying to sit down.

Mr. Ruffles died March 3, 2001.

This Cairn Terrier was with us 13 of his 15 years and was a member of our family. He drove us nuts because it always seemed he was in the way when you wanted to go somewhere. Maybe he just wanted the extra pets!

He had some interesting habits. He loved to chase squirrels - this house was heaven for him! He always dumped his food bowl and "caught" the food on the floor. We used to joke that he had to kill it before he ate it.. He also would play dumb so the other dog would do stuff for him like open doors. Yeah - he was dumb like a fox!

But the most fun thing about Ruffles was when he'd eat a "Blow Pop." He'd hold the lollipop between his paws, peel the paper off with his teeth and proceed to lick the candy and chew the gum. LOL!  The best thing about Mr. Ruffles though, was the fact that he always liked to snuggle up and be your "feel better" doggy. That's what we'll miss the most.

We buried  him in the yard under the "squirrel tree." His spirit might as well have some fun, too!
