Heather's Page
Always wanted a daughter named Heather, ever since I was 12 years old! Well, after two boys she finally arrived. Missed Christmas by 45 minutes! It was an interesting holiday way back in 1980.

Heather attends Boson University and enjoys playing in the Marching Band there. They don't have a football team, so the band plays at soccer and field hockey games as well as the Pep Band playing at BU ice hockey games. The band recently completed a mini-tour of Maine spots and participated in a band competition in Allentown, PA. She can play flute, alto and tenor saxophone.

Heather is also a member of the Greater Overbrook String Band where she plays tenor sax. They gave  their 2001 debut in the Mummer's Parade in Philly. They have a clown theme this year! Some pics below.
This is Heather's band, The Greater Overbrook String Band performing on Market Street on January 1, 2001. They did a good job as the first band down the street that day.  Go to the Mummer's site to see more and read about the traditions of Philadelphia Mummering
