The money we get from progress and industrialization cannot compensate for the damage it brings about to our surroundings. We tend to yearn for quick and fast developments, and forget about the long-term damage it creates. The environment cannot cope with drastic changes our intervention brings, therefore, let us keep in mind that in our quest for sustainable development.
