Changes from Area 2 TO Area 3
- Sudden decrease in Nitrogen
- Increase in Phosphorus
- Nitrogen producing bacteria were probably extinguished due to the accumulated waste which probably would have made the water toxic (concept of tolerance limit).
- The increase of phosphorus would have resulted from the lack of vegetation in the area which is again probably the result of the toxicity of the water.
