LEGOLAS GREENLEAF: Sindarin Elf of the Woodland realm, Mirkwood forest. Immortal. Son of King Thranduil. He joined the Fellowship to help Frodo to destroy the One Ring and stop Sauron's evil. He fought at the side of King Elessar(Aragorn) during the War of the Ring. Enemies in the beginning, Gimli the Dwarf and Prince Legolas eventually became the best of Friends. Legolas, after the death of Aragorn(His dear human friend), heard the call of the sea and decided to go to Valinor(Making his own boat). He took Gimli with him. (Thanks to Galadriel's intervention.). Gimli was the only Dwarf to ever be allowed to come to the Undying Lands. |
