In despair and a wish to save her people, she disobeyed her Uncle and fought in the Pelennor fields pretending to be a man. She bravely stepped forth to protect her Uncle from becoming prey to The Witch King and killed him with the help of Merry. Later, she fell in love and married Faramir. |
