Old Business:
- Christmas Trees
- Lots are taken down
- Monterey
sales were down.
- So is business in the mall
(CO-OP, A&W)
- Were open for less time then
previous years
New Business:
- Christmas Trees for Next Year
- Our number of members will
likely be the same or less
- Were short on 3 shifts this
year
- Most members willing to run
lot next year
- Many options is not enough
people:
- Bring in new group
- Work lot in combo with
another group
- Drop one lot
- May be fine as-is
- Joining properties into one
scout group
- Disadvantage:
- there is no benefit for our
crew
- may loose control of our
finances
- potential group conflicts
- Advantages:
- may be able to restore some
scouting in Pineridge
- give our experience to other
groups
- It has been suggested that all
expenses come out of our account, rather then our pockets
- Future meetings: once per month
- Will be held on first
Wednesday of every month
- Ideas to give back to scouting:
- Use funds to fix-up lodges at Camp
Gardener
- Volunteer our time & use
funds to cover expenses
- Longhouse
- Apache
- Archery range
- $500-$1000 solo
- Cookie Race February 26&27
- Camphosts:
- Next camphost:
- Formal dinner
- Investatures/Knightings
- Pete will not be there
- Big trip for this year
- Sunshine coast
- God’s pocket
- 9-10 length
- Tall ships in Victoria
23-26th June (end of trip?)
- Activities for next few months:
- Skiing
- Skating
- Pool
- Paintball/Laser tag
- Social-cultural night
