Old Business:

• Cookie race & skiing was a lot of fun, too bad for those of you who missed out.

• Splash is booked for March 10th (next Wednesday), at Adevntures in SCUBA.  Bryan had to pre-pay so he only booked 6 places - if we get over that coming we may be able to book more.
• If you are attending let Bryan know by FRIDAY
• We need to be there around 5:50 so we can check in.  Pool opens at 6.
  

New Business:

• Maui:
• We will be renting our gear from the Maui Dive Shop.  Unfortunately they do not pre-book gear, but they have nine stores so at worst we'll have to go to 9 different places to get gear...

• We will also be doing our boat dives through Maui Dive Shop, Bryan is booking us one 2-tank boat dive to Molokai.  If you desire you may be able to take addition boat dives.
  

• We need to put together an Emergency Binder for the trip.  In this binder we need info such as emergency contact numbers, search & rescue info, physical fitness forms, personal insurance information, etc.  We will take one copy with us, and two will be left here with our emergency contact people.  Bryan will take care of putting the binder together, but here is what he needs from you:
  
• Every one going to Maui should fill out a new physical fitness form.  Please get these to Bryan ASAP.
• You should also consider getting a medical done by your doctor before you leave. 
  
• Emergency contacts:  Debbie Dale & Don Hadford will be our emergency contacts here in Canada while we are gone.  However, we need to make sure that we have updated contact numbers for all of our families.  Our list appears to be good, but we still need Dom's parents number.  Dom, please get this to Bryan ASAP.
• We have several trained first-aiders heading out (Tim, Bob, others?), so that base is covered.
• Tim will find out the location(s) of:
• All Maui hospitals
• Nearest decompression chamber
• Search & Rescue (i.e. Coast Guard)
• You will need to make sure your insurance is set up to cover you in the USA.  We will need a copy of your insurance card (or a copy of some other proof of insurance) so that we can give this info to hospitals, etc, if you happen to be unconscious.  If your health insurance won't cover you for US travel, and you didn't get insurance from Darcy,  you need to seek third party issuance ASAP.
  
• We should also have a copy of your passports identification page (this is the page with your picture).  This is a useful thing to have in case your passport gets stolen.

• You may also want to get additional divers insurance from DAN.  This insurance will cover things that are not covered by your usual health insurance (evacuation, compression therapy, etc).  This coverage is world wide, and dirt cheap ($29US per year), plus it comes with a SCUBA magazine (6 editions per year)!  this issuance has come highly recommended by several instructors at Aquasport.

• Next meeting is the SPLASH at Adventures in SCUBA.  Please try to be there by 5:50 to check in.  We have the pool until your air runs out, or 8PM - whichever comes first.
