Old Business:
 

• None

Rover Stuff:

• We have the school every other week starting today (Sept 9).  Since we only have Rovers it looks like every other week will be hockey night!!!

• There are 13 people to run the tree lot.  Expect to do several shifts.  We'll start booking timeslots soon, so check your calendar and set aside some dates!

• We will be electing a new executive next meeting

•  We have limited our destination for the winter dive trip to Maui (Hawaii) and Cozumel (Mexico).  Pete will be sending out hard costs and info very soon, so you'll have an idea what these trips are like.  We'll be deciding in the next two weeks where we're going.  Here's a brief outline of what we're looking at:

Cozumel (more details to come):
        1.Rent a couple of condo's, 2 blocks from beach.
        2.Rent a villa!
        3.Cheap hotel with dive package
 
 

• In about 1.5 weeks we'll be having a meeting to finalize the trip.  This meeting is mandatory if you want to attend.  You'll also have to bring your down payment that night ($200).  This meeting is tentatively set for Thursday, September 18th.  A firm date/time will be provided soon.

• We need to fill out some paperwork for Scouts Canada.  This page outlines what we need, Tim will get the forms.

• There are a few things you have to take care of yourself for this trip.  These things can take some time, so please get on them ASAP:
• Passports.  Irregardless of where we go you will need a valid passport for entry.  If you do not have a passport that will be valid in February 2004 you will need to get one ASAP.  For more information, and the forms, visit the passport office webpage.
•      Vaccinations:  If we go to Cozumel you should get a Hepatitis A vaccine, as well as make sure your polio and typhoid vaccines are up to date.  See your family doctor, or a doctor at a walk-in clinic, for more information.
