Old Business:

• None

• Our crests are now in.  We have 50 of them.
• 2 crests will be given to each member
• if want additional crests they are $5 each.  This money will go towards buying new crests
• crests will be used in place of the Pineridge 166 crest on your right sleeve.  It goes at the very top.

• We are taking over the Scout leadership next year.  We'll probably be helping out with the beavers, cubs and possibly vents as well.
•  Planning meeting in 2 weeks (May 22nd) at the community centre
• We'll plan the whole year's activities and produce a detailed plan
• Bring any ideas you have for the program
• When we register we'll be registered as leaders.  Some specifically as Scout leaders, others as leaders-at-large
• Come September we'll be moving our meetings to Tuesday nights.  One meeting per month will be on a Wednesday for Rover-specific activities.
• We're looking into getting some leader training for all of us, probably Scouting part I.

• We are going on a bike trip this Sunday (Mothers Day).  We're meeting at the Dales at 10 and riding to Carburn park.  Bring a lunch and some water.

• The advanced PADI course has been moved to the weekend before we leave for our trip (June 7-9).  Tim, Pete, Bryan, Ryan and Shaun are confirmed.
• You must pick up your book and pay for the course ASAP, you need to understand the book before you can go on the training dives.

• We're tentatively doing a splash on May 29th.  Ryan's checking into it ASAP, and will let us know what's happening.  $15 if you want to go.

   

• July long weekend we can go to Pete's land for the weekend.  Will be tenting, and lots of fun.

• Over the summer we'd like to do a day canoe trip or perhaps a bike trip.  Feel free to plan any other activities!

• We have 2 other dive trips planned.  One will be an evening BBQ/dive trip to forget-me-not ponds.  The second will be a trip to Minnewanka.  Dates TBD.

• June 12th = cultural even/going to Victoria party/year end party. 

• Group Windup is June 11th

• Leave at 9AM, breakfast = Tim Horton's or 7-11.
• Lunch on the road - bring your own.
• Supper at Squilax hostel, where we'll spend the night.

Sunday, June 16th:

• Leave early morning, breakfast at Squilax
• Lunch on the road, out of the cooler
• Get on the 5 PM Ferry
• Dinner in Victoria
• Check into Camp Bernard

Monday, June 17th:

• Hike on the Juan De Fuca Trail

Tuesday, June 18th:

• Easy dives

Wednesday, June 19th:

• Dive on the Ogden Point all day

Thursday, June 20th:

• Harder dives

Friday, June 21st:

• Leave early AM
• Night stay TBD

Saturday, June 22nd:

• Day on the beach

Sunday, June 23rd:
