Special points on the Sims 2.

After choosing Sims, you choose one of three towns to call home. You can take the control of characters who are already going about their lives, or you can make your own Sims. You must also choose an aspiration: fortune, knowledge, family, romance or popularity. When their aspirations are decided, their lives will be about fullfilling the aspirations through the lives.

The new Sims have short-term dreams and fears that regularly change based on their aspirations. They can rear children, their children's children and more. Play one Sim and you've got your hands full. Play three and you'll almost go crazy keeping up.

Fears and desires change to new ones as the old are realized or ignored. These little milestones lead you toward your ultimate aspiration. If it's a family you desire, a goal might pop up to meet a new person. Then you might want to share interests over conversation, then to dancing, dating and even geting married.

You can be a parent, and through the magic of simulated genetic code, Sims you create can have babies who take on physical and emotional traits of their parents -- and their parents' parents, if you take this game into generations.

And the most wonderful feature of the Sims 2 is that Sims have their own life span like real humans do.

Sims are getting older and older as you play. New baby is born, and old Sims die. You can oversee the whole lives of your Sims.
