English Learnign Sites

ASSIGNMENT:
Part 1: Comparison

Explore the links under each main area and choose TWO sites from TWO areas to compare. Hence, you will be comparing two sites in one category, and two in another. Discuss which sites would be most useful to you and why. Post your assignment to your web site.
You do NOT need to compare two sites from every single category, nor do you need to find sites that we have not listed here. This means that you do NOT need to find any learning sites on your own!

1. Large General Sites Dave's ESL Cafe
Karin's ESL PartyLand
=>I think the 'Dave's ESl cafe' is better than 'Karin's ESL PartyLand' because it is well-organized and easier to navigate. In both sites, I can take some quizzes and chat with other students, but Dave's one provides more interesting and comprehensive.
2. Vocabulary and Grammar Activities for ESL students
English Blues
=>I liked 'Activities for ESL students' more than 'English Blues'. The first site offers bilingual quizzes such as a Korean-English quiz. This gives English words and I find which Korean words match to them, so it was interesting for me. Also, 'English Blues' has pretty valuable contents, but its organization is poor.

Part 2: Make an annotated list.

As you explore, make an annotated list of learning sites that you particularly enjoy or find useful. Give the URL and put a very short description of what you can find or do there--one or two lines. You can add these links to your web site after your comparisons. How you present this assignment is up to you.

I likes these sites,
1. Dave's ESL cafe =>
2. Activities for ESL Students =>

We can use these sites as good reference tools for studying English. Also, they allow us to test our knowledge and understanding of English with quizzes and games.
