Red Whiskered bulbul

These sprightly, noisy birds are commonly found in cities in India. Seen here, it is hopping from one branch of a Rain Tree to another, feeding on its ripening pods, which contain a pungent paste, which attracts a host of birds, from Golden Orioles to Minivets.
