Crimsonbreasted Barbet or Coppersmith

Location where spotted : In a hollow ( probably nesting ) on the inner road

Generally spotted near : Leafy trees

Marathi name : Tambat ( 'tambat' is the literal translation of coppersmith. Both these names, viz, the coppersmith and tambat are due to the monotonous noise it makes, which resembles a coppersmith hitting a copper vessel )
