I have an skill proposal for you, it will be complex to add to game, but games another online games have it and would be nice see it in Tibia.
This is only an example of various skills, i don't know how tibia script skills work. And i typed my own probabilities and skill limits. I hope you like it.







MINNING SKILL

You first have to talk with a master npc for learn the basics of  Minning paying 5000 gp he give you a book and you have to read it. 
After read it, you will gain 25 in minning skill.

For extract metals from the rocks, you will have to use a Pickaxe


Metal for extraction

Cooper		needed 25 skill
Bronze  	needed 50 skill
Iron 		needed 75 skill
Steel 		needed 100 skill
Silver     	needed 125 skill
Golden       	needed 150 skill
Valorite     	needed 175 skill

SMELT SKILL

After read it, you will gain 25 in smelting.

When you have the metals, you have to smelt them in a forge (smelt skill). You introduce them in the forge and it will make a ingot

BLACKSMITH SKILL

You first have to talk with a master npc for learn the basics of  Minning paying 5000 gp he give you a book and you have to read it. 
After read it, you will gain 25 in blacksmithing.
When you have ready the ingot, you have to convert it in a weapon/tool/armor you need an anvil and a blacksmith hammer.
