After we both got only two and a half hours of sleep, my long time friend Shannon and I got up at 4 AM and drove to Boulder from Ft. Collins. We were roped up climbing around 7:30 AM, and we spent a very hot, yet successful day taking our time enjoying the Standard East Face Route of the Third Flatiron. By 3:30 PM, we completed the last rappel off the back. The picture is of the two of us finally back on the deck after the last rappel.
