The OUTER LIMITS team
Headed by Ken Currie, the Outer Limits team has established itself as a top contender in every pull contested. A formidable talent with a wealth of experience in different classes of competition, Ken has bested every competitor on the circuit, with finishes consistently in the top five.
Ken ended a successful 1999 season fifth overall in Ontario out of a class of sixteen.
Based in Lakefield, Ontario, Ken and his two daughters started out in Street 2-Wheel and were undefeated in the two seasons that this truck ran in competition.
Watching the four wheelers run at the same events gave the urge to run harder and Ken built and campaigned a Stock class 4x4 for two years. Not in the points run for these two years, the truck was still in the top five at every competition entered.
When Stock Trucks became too tame, Ken moved up into Super Stock where he is today.
The name of the team came about from Ken's innovative approach to building the truck from used equipment, and from his very original engineering ideas that were said to be unworkable. Not only does Ken's approach and ideas work, they provide much commentary from the announcers, the spectators, and most importantly, provides headaches for his competitors.
Taking everything to the Outer Limits is the spirit of competition!
When Ken is not pulling, he is busy raising his two daughters, Mary and Sarah, who are the main push behind the team. Ken also works as the Chief Building Official for a local township, as well as enjoying a successful business as a Home Designer and Construction Consultant.
