Adventures in Australia Contest

Imagine that you are a writer for Kids' Travel magazine.  You have been assigned to travel to the Australian mainland to meet the Bush Rescue Squad and observe the Tasmanian tiger.  The only problem is that this animal is thought to be extinct.  Can you find it?  Write a 200-word magazine article describing your journey.  Include the following:

• Describe the Tasmanian tiger's habitat.  What do you see, hear, and smell in the habitat?
• How do you track down the Tasmanian tiger?
• What would you like people living in the United States to know about this animal?
