ADVENTURES WITH K.B
Are you planning a trek in Nepal, but don't want to get involved with a trekking company?
I am an experienced, friendly and professional porter/guide. I have a very good knowledge of all the main trekking areas including local information that you won't find in guide books.
I speak fluent English and also know some phrases in nine other languages.
I am a family man, living with my wife and four children in Pokhara - the starting point for treks in the popular Annapurna region.

This is the experience of a lifetime and I realise that you may have a lot of questions about what trek is right for you or, more importantly, if a porter or guide is what you want. Feel free to email me with these questions or to arrange a meeting when you get to Nepal.

Newly intoduced TRC(trekking registration certificates) are easily arranged through the company that I undertake contract work with. With the new TRC requirements my day rate is now US$18 (i have to pay US$3 to the concerning agency per day to be authorized to go to the trek). For those wanting to do the Annapurna Circuit expect to pay around US$35 per day per person (which will cover your trekking permit, transportation, food,accomodation(tea-houses)and your guide/porter (hopefully me) but keep in mind that your bar bill will be extra.
