Winter is sneaking up on us. Had some snow flurries this weekend and lots of wind. Ugh. I decided the dogs and I needed some exercise and took them out to get the mail on Sunday. Yes, I know, it was Saturday's mail but it was so nasty out I skipped it. The driveway here is 1/4 mile long and slightly downhill. The picture was taken on a nice day of me coming home from work. Gee, I remember those days, it was still light out when I got home. Ugh again.
On a different note I've been making decisions, decisions, decisions. As anyone that knows me well, knows that decision making is not my strongest skill. I tend to worry things to death and work out all the possible outcomes before I make a final decision. To those that think that's being wishy-washy (and you know who you are) I blow you a big raspberry. I'm not wishy-washy, I'm careful. The blue Collie puppy is a no-go, just not the right time or puppy. I have puppies coming back from two other breeders out of spectacular lines and top pedigrees, so I'm going to be careful and patient and wait until 2009. Although I kind of have another idea that's brewing around in the back of my head...
The Cardigan isn't coming here either, at least not that particular one. Although brindle is my absolute favorite cardi color, again that just wasn't the absolute right dog for the time. Just another long, not so winding road.
Until next time...
