My sister Kim has this little saying "I'm so cool" that she says when she's definately NOT cool. I have now fallen into the "I'm so cool" category. Let me start out with a little history lesson. Our office has limited parking and patients needs of course come first. So we have a little parking area across the street for about 12 of us on a rotating month basis. I volunteered last year to park over there permanently. All thru the winter months I was careful to go out the front door and around the building on the sidewalk to avoid coming out the side door onto the grassy hill, so I wouldn't fall and break some needed body part. Yesterday it was raining buckets and I went out the side door to go to lunch. I slipped in the wet grass and performed one of those acrobatic routines that you just know is going to end with pain. I would have laid there a while and cried, but it was raining and the ground was soaked and of course then so was I. And it's a busy street right next to the hospital and I didn't want someone to dial 911. I was embarrased enough as it was. X-rays confirmed I didn't break anything, but I have gone and gotten a pretty bad sprained knee. Which really stinks with dog classes and a show coming up next weekend. I have this really ultra cool (NOT!) knee brace to wear. Yep, I'm whiney about it too because it hurts and because it interfers with my life. I don't tolerate that very well.
Yep, I'm so cool...
