A group of canine handlers in our area, we all got together every week and trained together. We included myself and Joeri, Mike McCurdy and Thor (Corrections), Sgt. Baxter and Maverick (Marion PD), Jeff Grubbs and Tommy (Carbondale PD), and Mike Hopkins and Mike (Murphysboro PD). |

Here are all the other guys of the Southern IL Dawg Training Group. WE have trained and were also wore out after building some search boxes for the Carbondale Training Area. |

Once again, here are all the other guys of our group. This is at the end of another training day, and we were all "dawg" tired. |

Here Baxter is "kneeing" Joeri in an attempt to get his paws off the ground and to let go of the bite. We often do "wierd", not wierd wierd, but different wierd stuff to make sure our dogs would work in any condition or situation. |

Here Joeri is digging and biting at the water fountain where the dope used to be. Joeri alerts very strong and if you look closely, he caused the dope to fall out onto the floor next to the fountain. Joeri has a GREAT, very strong postive/aggressive response. |

Here Baxter is once again doing bitework with Baxter. This is the sit and bark. Notice, we are in a junkyard around cars, once again trying to train in several areas getting the dog used to working anywhere and everywhere. |
