Interlochen, MI Concert

OMG! This was the BEST concert I've ever attended! Chris Isaak interacted with the audience with genuine warmth and humor. After the first couple songs he invited everyone to come closer. It was great to be able to enjoy the concert so close up! He pulled an asian girl onto the stage to dance, she was a student at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Then he pulled another student, a guy, and put his guitar on the kid. Surprisingly, the kid started playing the guitar and very well! The band was just jammin' with him and the kid started playing to the audience Chris Isaak style. It was very funny, especially the look on Chris Isaak's face. He finally got his guitar back and continued the best concert ever! The sound was perfect, his voice is incredible.

To our amazement, he stayed after and signed our CDs and spoke with us. I'm so impressed with how he makes the effort to connect with his fans. This was a once in a lifetime experience! I drove 4 hours to see him. I don't recall him ever touring Michigan before. I hope he comes back soon and hits Ann Arbor!

By the way, the opening band was "Owsley".
