AC Review

I went to the show Friday night. It was amazing as usual. Chris in his purple velvet suit and rhinestones singing his heart out. Working the crowd as usual with his sadistic banter in between the songs (ie:summer's eve joke, any people in the crowd in a happy commited realtionship, etc.). He kept calling out to some girl in the second row saying "I am really digging you baby, there are only two rows separating me from you!" I couldn't see what she looked like but lucky her!! I can't remember his entire set list by I do remember that he performed, "Wicked Game" and "Diddley Daddy" from HSW, "San Francisco Days" and "Two Hearts" from SFD, "Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing", "Somebody's Crying", "Go Walking Down There" and "Forever Blue" from FB, "Only The Lonely" from Baja Sessions, "Please", "Flying" and "Speak Of The Devil" from SOTD and "Blue Hotel". All wonderful renditions! What can I say? He puts on a great show!

The only problem was the after show autograph signing. It was poorly organized and people were crowding poor Chris from all sides. Have they ever heard of forming a line in New Jersey?? Poor Chris, it was ridiculous!! I saw him back in November at Roseland in NYC and that was much more organized! He barely had time to sign his name on my things, let alone much else. And the groupies trying to get him into their hotels rooms or onto the band's bus was pathetic!!! These groupies were pulling him left and right trying to get a piece of him. It was disgusting! No wonder the why man can't have a decent relationship. What women would put up with all those other women trying to constantly sleep with your man! I am not saying that Chris is saint and that he doesn't occasionally delge into sin with a fan but it was really a very replusive sight. But, despite that it was an enjoyable show and I hope you come back to NYC soon Chris!
