The House of Blues - Mandalay Bay Hotel March 11, 1999

This whole trip was an adventure. I had never taken a vacation without my mom and dad. And to take this huge step with CHRIS--- well it was GREAT!!!!
I drove down from Salt Lake the day of the concert. I made it to VEGAS with about 4 hours to spare before the concert. I was early because I was meeting Miss Lani and Alexis down there. We met and they are lovely gals. We went to the concert together.
I am not going to say much about Mandalay or the HOB!! Other than I was not impressed.
The concert for me ROCKED!!! We stood, on the first balcony on Roly side. I was in heaven. I never thought I would see CHRIS at all let alone in a strange city. I loved the suit, the songs and the whole thing. I am one that dances to music. I can't help it. So I was rocking and swinging. CHRIS was at his best, singing songs that I love. DANCIN is one of my favorite. I wasn't impressed with the Belly Dancer. And the mickey mouse dancer (sorry but she reminded me of one) needed to leave.
Lani and Alexis were so nice and we had a blast. What else can you do at a CI concert but have a rocking good time.
I was able to snap some pictures, got in trouble for it too. I didn't get a personal picture with him this time. For some reason-- CHRIS had to jet. I did get a ton of merchandise and was able to actually say something coherent to him.
I had brought my SLC picture with me to get signed. While going through the many things I brought, being ever so nice, signing each one. He came to the picture-- looked up at me, smiled. I said "that's you and me in Salt Lake City" He smiled and said "It is isn't it?" I asked him to sign it in SILVER and he did. But I actually said something other than DUH.
All in all it was an amazing night. I wish I was as lucky as those that get private chats with him. MAYBE next time.
