Friday Nite-Museum & Pantages

Before the concert we went to the Hollywood Museum where Chris was doing a radio show. That was pretty neat. Hardly any people there. Most of them were from the radio station, the museum, or part of the auction. Anywayz, Chris was there with Kenny and Hershel. They took some calls and did some impromptu singing. There was one hilarious caller who said he sings "Wicked Game" to get the girls. So Chris wanted to hear the caller's version. They start playing the music and the guy is singing. It was a riot! Chris said something about 'maybe this isn't your key'(?) The guy said it really works and Chris said he should take the guy's 'leftovers'. I can't remember the whole thing cuz I was laughing so hard. The guys were is casual clothes. When Chris' jacket opened up a bit he had a badge (from 'Shepherd'?) on his belt. After it was over he signed a surfboard and drew his profile on it. Maybe it was for the auction. He signed a few autographs. I was trying to get a pic but I'm just not aggressive enough. It was the perfect opportunity since there weren't so many people. I blew my chance.

So off to dinner to meet Jeryl, Chris, Michelle, and Emberly. Great time. Glad we did that.

You heard about the concert from the others. Great as always. He didn't sing "Sweet Leilani" nor the gospel song as he did in Vegas.

I got Chris to autograph a pic of us from Vegas. (it's kinda dorky cuz he's leaning over the autograph table and I'm trying to lean back. Not too flattering for me, but hey, it's still a pic with The Man himself.) He drew a halo over my head and devil horns on his. My tee has a heart with 'swingin' written in it. I had my friend stand in line with me so that I could get the poster and the "Wicked Game" CD cover signed too. (I know, what a hog...) My friend was impressed that he was signing everybody's stuff. Then when he got to her, CI looked up to her and said HI. She was speechless.

We went outside to hopefully get some pics. What a frenzy. Chris was being turned around in circles for pics. Again I wasn't aggressive enough and I missed out on a pic. You just gotta get yourself in there. (I felt like I was a Disneyland trying to get a pic with a character.) But Jeryl and Michelle were the last to get pics with Chris. I'm kicking myself in the butt again. Next time I know.

As always a Chris nite is always a great nite. Still coming down from all the excitement. Excuse the rambling, can't help myself.
