Denver Concert Review
Posted by Chrissy
I was fortunate to attend CI's concert here in Denver, CO at the newly remodeled Fillmore Auditorium. There were no seats in this auditorium, but the place was absolutely packed with people, I've never seen anything like it! Well, the opening act, Iris Demint, was a bit tiring and she kept singing for what seemed to be an eternity. The crowd, the extremely large crowd, I should say, was getting very impatient. The concert was supposed to start at 8 pm, but Chris finally came out around 9:10. The crowd went wild at the first sight of him. He and his band got the crowd going, playing newer selections from Speak Of The Devil as well as old favorites. He played for well over two hours. I've never been to a concert with such talented musicians and entertainers than CI and Silvertone. Chris told stories and jokes between songs that naturally flowed into the next set of songs.
It was my first CI concert and I was really looking forward to seeing him, and it was well worth it once the show got started! I would recommend to anyone to go to a CI concert, even if you don't know his music that well. First of all, you'll just have a blast because the loud music really gets to you and you can't help but dance, and CI's sense of humor is very unique and he will have you lauhging all night long. Besides, if you thought he was good looking from pictures and TV, then the ladies are in for a real treat, becase he's absolutely gorgeous in person! Oh, and what a sweety he is! He'll sign autographs, and if you wait, he'll give a you a big hug while your friend snaps a picture of the two of you! CI and Silvertone are well worth it!
