Tahoe, Both Nights

Friday night

Finally made it a day later than expected due to AWFUL east coast weather. I had convinced a friend to come with me and I was sure she was regretting the whole thing. Our seats for the show more than made up for any travel troubles because we were right beside the stage. This didn't allow for much dancing though but how can you complain when there is a PURE UNALTERED UNOBSTRUCTED FULL WIDE ANGLE view of Chris and the boys right in front of you.

They came out promptly at 9:30, Chris in his magenta velvet tasseled sequined suit and the guys all in black. The set list was pretty much the same except when after the 3rd or 4th song, Chris pulled Christine up on stage and sang Return to Me--Lucky girl!!

The jokes were pretty much the same too but a little shortened. The crowd was rather well behaved, too well behaved 'cause even when Chris invites the audience to party, no one got up.

Saturday night

The crowd was definitely rowdier..yes plenty of hoochie girls galore--did they all come off the same bus? I had the MISfortune of sitting beside a bunch of them. They would not shut up during the show, making loud comments and gestures. Tried my best to ignore them cause the show was great, the set list was changed to include Blue Darlin, Two Hearts, and a few others I can't remember.

Earlier in the day I ran into Chris in the lobby, he was walking with a woman in my direction and for a split second I wanted to hide, but he was too close. He was wearing a retro sixty-ish dark blue/navy? suit with dark shirt and tie. I could see 2 sparkly pins on his lapel--he looked so dashing and dapper, it was a refreshing change from the heavy velvet suits.

That's all!
