(My 8th CI show. Yippee!)

This time I brought my friend Tanya with me. This was her birthday present from me. We stood on the floor a little to the right of Chris' microphone. There was only about 6 people in front of us and after a while the tall people moved. Everone in front of us was shorter so we had a nice unobstructed view. Chris wore the purple velvet again. I came to the conclusion that he wears boxers. Don't ask why I think that, I was just being observant. Is that going too far? Rumpelstiltskin! They played Blue Moon in its entirety. It sounded so lovely. When Chris came out in the mirrored suit there was this one mirror on his pants, that the lights hit just so, that kept blinding me. During Bonnie Bee there was a little girl up there that was led over next to Chris. She was doing her dance and shaking her head around. Chris saw her and was imitating her dancing. It was so cute. He said to her, "What's your name, baby." She started giggling and finally she said, "Sarah."

After the show I waited again for the autograph line to thin so I could get my t-shirt signed. I got the green one with the Japanese writing on the front. Tanya and I set our stuff down and when he came over we asked him to do his Clinton impression. So kind of softly where you'd have to be just a few feet away to hear him, Chris said in a Clinton-like voice, "That would be wrong." I was total laughing. He does it so good. Later on, when I got home and looked at my t-shirt I was pretty happy because I didn't have this drawing yet. He drew his self portrait.

After autographs, we went outside to wait for pictures. Chris didn't come out. After a while, we went to the back of the Warfield and saw Roly, Hershel, and Brett being chauffered away. One of the crew was walking by so I asked him if Chris was still there because all we want is a picture. He went to check for us and he said Chris left because he was tired. I wanted Tanya to get a pic with him but that's okay. We talked with the crew guy for a few minutes and I said, "Do you surf with him?" and he said, "No, but I've watched." I said, "Oh-h-h!" I gave him my alien pic from the San Diego show to give to Chris. He said he would when he sees him on Friday and he put the pic in a safe spot in a pocket inside his jacket. I hope he doesn't forget. I'll ask on Saturday. Some of you know what I'm talking about when I say 'alien pic'.

We left the Warfield at 1 in the morning. SF was surprisingly not very cold. There was no wind, for once!
