San Jose SUCKED

Ok, this message will probably make a few people angry, but "Oh well." The San Jose show was horrible for every reason OTHER than Chris and the boys.

The crowd was RUDE, SLEAZY, DRUNK, and TASTELESS. One girl threw her bra onstage, and after the show managed to "brag" about it to some guys. Another person had a sign that said "I want to lick your pick," and I had to listen to some girl brag about sleeping with rock stars behind me all night. I even got some guy's elbow smacked in my face because he was dancing and not being considerate.

To top it all off, we had to wait in a small club, crammed like toothpicks, standing, until about 10:30 (correct me if I am wrong) until Chris and the boys finally came out. There was no ventilation, and people were arguing, and calling each other names. When they say "Intimate venue" they REALLY mean intimate. There was some stupid guy that became impatient waiting for he band and he was yelling "Come on! We have to get up in the morning!" What an idiot. Then DURING the show he had two girls with him and was yelling "SHORT PEOPLE......SHORT PEOPLE.....MOVE!" He was "escorting" them to the front because they were short, and no, he didn't work there. UGH! I guess I shouldn't complain, I was up in front, which took no effort, since I arrived a little early. Plus I managed to walk away with a few personalized memories.

A word of advice though, if you are going to a show, and you have doubts about the city/crowd/location.........DONT GO! It is better to wait to see them in a good venue. I guess I am spoiled by some of the great CI&S shows I have seen in the past, and San Jose was just not my cup of tea!

Otherwise the show was decent. They played the usual set list, and didn't tell as many jokes. They played more music, which was nice. Even though the venue and people were horrible, it was neat to see them on such a small stage, and it is always good to hear them live!
