NYC Review

I'm going to give this review from my eyes- I am being as unbiased as possible- just printing the truth.
For starters Shawn M. was amazing- and that new song " Shimmer " was a breath taker.
I'm waiting during the intermission- I had great seats- 3rd row isle seat, and who should appear but a beautiful asian girl( bad teeth ) in the isle seat in the 2nd row. She was wearing a long red dress ( more like a prom dress ) she looked like she was 30- she brought her mother. She stuck out like a sore thumb- being that the attire was mostly jeans and shirts. I said to myself " here we go! " Now I thought with her good seats and her " sticking " out- she knows him- she's probably one of the girls I have been reading about on the internet- but she brought 2 disposable cameras- so I thought to myself- If she were really with him, she wouldn't be taking all the pictures she did ( she never put the camera down )- it seemed more like she was a fan in awe- so I kept watching...
CI takes the stage- within the first song, she gets a wink- by the second song- I got a wink and then I got a nasty look from her. Oh well-
He was wearing the pink suit- I'm thinking- NO ONE could pull that off but him! Then naturally at the end of the show the mirrored suit appeares.

sorry guys- I have temporary amnesia- can't remember the others... So, during the show- he went off on his hysterical tangents- they were so funny and long - he had the crowd laughing so much- I wouldn't do them justice if I tried to repeat them here- so I'm sure someone else at the NYC show can fill in the blanks.
during the show- CI jumped in the crowd onto the balcony and continued to play the guitar- he was walking the railing way up! There was a man by him making sure he didn't fall. Then Roly pulled up the Asian girl and he said " you'r breaking my heart..." so she danced solo on stage for a while- CI was still on the balcony playing. Some other girls came on stage to dance- I do have to mention that no other girls were BROUGHT on stage- the stage was like at least six feet high so no one else could get on- but apparently some otheres did-I'm happy to report- no silicone in the audience! There was one number on stage dancing- but she danced well- much better than the asian girl- who at that point was wearing a guitar...
I forgot to mention that no one stood up at all or danced until CI said "come down " then it was sworming. The asian girl ran like there was no tomorrow-so that was my second clue that she didn't know him- she really played the fan role- she pushed people around alot- including me who got a nice elbow ( not saying it was on purpose ) In the middle of the concert- some girl got on stage ( I don't know how ) and started dancing with her eyes closed- she was all over the stage- CI was in the middle of the stage singing- he then moved over to Hershels microphone and gave a weird look- she was removed- "what a set of *****" I thought- god bless!!!
He did some petting zoo joke and said he would be signing autographs and giving free physical exams- I complied! For the most part, the crowd was really great- also mostly couples in their thirties- I wish he would play longer though- I've seen a lot of concerts- for ex- I saw Eric Clapton not so long ago and he played for three hours-
Back in the lobby... after releaving the two toasted almonds I had during the show, I come upstairs and CI was almost leaving- how unusual- I have seen him stay for as long as three hours after signing? I talked to Hershel, roly, kenny ( who was accompanied by a date/wife- I forgot her name )and the new keyboardest who was so nice after the show. actually- roly was looking at me and smiled and I walked right passed him thinking "what are you looking at " then I realized DUH! who that was- woops- I went up to him after and talked. The security guard got us ( my friend and I )up to Chris before he left and chatted a little- he said " I saw you out there! " ( YAY thump, thump! ) I told him I would be there tomorrow night and he said that he would be spending more time there ( in Conn. ) Chris was his usual nice self- only had nice things to say to people and greeted fans like they were old friends, kissing alot of them goodbye.
2 complaints ( well, him being really skinny is not a complaint- more like an observation ) and there was this guy- very " hollywood" type now in CI's little circle- I didn't really dig him- he pushed people about, was a quick talker with CI- and I didn't get good vibes- I dunno-
Last but not least- my story couldn't be complete without telling you why I didn't get home until 4:30 am- we first went to a couple of bars- at about 2:00am, I waited for a subway to take me to penn station to pick up the train for a half hour- ( they usually run every 5-10 min. )during this time, the weirdos come out- so I got my pepper spray ready that was in my pocket- I opened up the saftey latch and then- it shoots me right in the face- I thought I was going to Die to say the least!- then I made my train- missed the adjoining train- and went to the other side if long island- I had to get off in the boonies and take a 40 $ cab ride home to my friends house- who I was with- she then had to take me to my train station to pick up my car and then drive home... and it was all worth it...
I can't wait till tonight--
