SSB Transceivers
The BITX20 Transceiver designed by Farhan - VU3ICQ features bidirectional amplifiers in an easy-to-build layout using readily available components.  The goal is low cost with only limited test equipment requirements for alignment.  My versions do SSB & CW and have transistor PTT circuits.  Work is coming along well on VOX circuitry, an S-Meter, and an internal Antenna Tuner.
10+ Watt MOSFET (IRF510) Linear Amplifier
This project is related to the BITX20 design, and is my contribution to QRO power for Farhan's little transceiver.  Several versions of IRF510 based RF amplifiers are being constructed and tested.  The goal is to design and build an unconditionally stable linear amplifier that can be driven by nearly any QRP rig.
Bit-locked Frequency Stabilizer
This is an ongoing discussion and design effort involving Hans - G0UPL and myself.  Others are welcome to participate as well.  We have an online discussion forum at "HuffPuff.yahoogroups.com".  Please join the group if you have an interest in non-PLL type VFO stabilizers.
 LF-Pro Receiver
Design and construction of a communications grade LF receiver for SSB & CW on the US 160 to 190 KHz experimenter band.  While this is not a Ham Radio band, there is no reason for US hams not to use if for QRP local or DX communications.  Get yourself a copy of the FCC's Part-19 Regs for this band and join me in the fun on LF.
Since computer connectivity is provided, this receiver is also capable of any software supported mode, including PSK, MSK, RTTY, etc.  Ease of construction and use of readily available parts is the design goal, along with state-of-the-art performance with either short or long antennas for this difficult frequency band.
VFO Stabilizers
This section hopefully takes the Huff & Puff design to new heights (or lows?).
