| Here is the not-so-high-tech GPS mount. The Garmin GPS is in a BodyGlove case, taped to the Defelctor Screen support arm. This puts the GPS right where I need it, is rock solid and cost's about 3 cents worth of electrical tape. Changing batteries is a pain however. Tourtech eat your heart out! | August of '02, took a trip to Orifino, ID. This picture taken in Lewiston ID, and shows the new "saddle bag" I made from a inexpensive backpack ($18). There is going to be a second one on the other side. Made the 1023 mile trip (including ~ 30 miles of gravel roads) with no problems.I doubled the original milage of the bike on this trip; now at ~ 16K miles. | |||||||||||||
