| A late summer trip on the river... |
| Chip and Kit Gardes invited us out for a summer evening on the river on the last weekend in August. We did a little kayaking, barbecued some hamburgers and watched a gorgeous sunset. Here are some pictures: |

| Chip and Kit have by now left for their year-long "walkabout" to England, Spain and South America. They're getting started a bit sooner than us, but it's the same general idea as what we'll be doing in South Pacific, starting next March -- travel, learning a new language, adventure, removing ourselves from the hassles of daily living (and substituting a whole new set of hassles, I'm sure!) |
