Well, i consider the second explanation of the ghost phenomena not good at all, because the most of people lets unfinished tasks when die; and in fact, following the reincarnation theory (the most of esoteric, hermetic and occult orders and school consider good and accurate the theory of the reincarnation), we find that many times a karmic lesson is occulted beyond an unifinished task, so, even we can say that it is written, even before the birth, that we will let some tasks unfinished.
