PHARA is a non-profit corporation dedicated to "enjoying" the hobby of amateur radio and mentoring new "hams" in the Piney Hills Country of North Louisiana. We meet on the first or second Thursday of each month in Ruston, LA at various restaurants.  (The 2002 meeting schedule rotates due to the club president's offshore work schedule.)

Most members begin arriving at 5:30 PM to enjoy a fine meal while others come only for a visit and the meeting at 6:00 PM. If you are in the area make a call on either machine to find the location and come on down to join us.

VE Testing

The fourth Saturday of each month several members of PHARA offer testing for all classes of license. Testing takes place at the Lincoln Parish Library on West Alabama. The time is usually around 9:00 AM. Check on the local repeaters for updates
