Above is a long view of the shack, which is also the household office and spare bedroom. The computer is a 900 mHz Dell. The radios are located on the desktop below the shelves. The transmatch at the window on the left was moved to a closet (not shown) to service my attic antenna. I no long use outdoor antennas. |

Here's a close-up of the radios. On the left is an Icom IC-718 transceiver for HF operation and shortwave listening. On the far right is a Kenwood TR-751A, an all-mode transceiver for the two-meter band that's connected to a Yagi antenna on the roof. Between the two radios is an interface I designed and built for ditial modes and SSTV, and a chrome-plated Bencher iambic paddle for CW. |
