Months have passed since your resignation

I know I'm being selfish, for you I should be glad

And it helps to know that in Heaven, you were reborn
Started your life over, wiped clean the slate

But I know that that was the day Heaven opened up and you went in
But for me, it was the beginning of the end
Everyone misses you and wants to hear your voice
I tell them to do this; it's the only choice
They must sit down and pray - and ask for strength
But this only works if, in God, you have strong faith
Without you here, a big part of my life is missin,
But I pray because I know, up in Heaven, you listen
People say without you, crazy they'll go
But I have assurance because I know ...

It's hard being this far away
