| MAGIC ITEM: Carvin' Marvin Carvin' Marvin is a magical and highly intelligent bastard sword. It is horribly evil and near impossible to control. Anyone who picks up the sword must roll a quick contest of Wills with the sword. Marvin has an IQ of 18 and 2 levels of strong will. If the wielder fails the sword takes control of the loser's body. All stats are considered the same except for IQ. The possession lasts until the sword is pryed from his hands, usually his cold, dead hands. The rules for Knocking a Weapon Away B111 will be useful when Carvin' Marvin takes over a friend. Anyone picking the sword up or drawing the sword must have a contest of Wills each time. Gloves do not protect. The sword will attack and kill everyone it can while in control. If it has any goal aside form bloodshed - it is to get that gem-encrusted scabbard or oil the blade. The sword weighs 5 lbs. Accuracy +3, Puissance +3, and Great Haste for the first 10 seconds after making the contest of Wills at no fatigue cost. |
