| ADVANTAGE Allergies varies Many people, regardless of how strong or healthy they are, suffer from allergies. Most allergies come in three forms, by inhalation, skin contact, or ingestion. All three forms of allergy have the same point value. Inhaled allergies are thoe that the substance is breathed into the lungs. this causes sneezing, watery eyes, runny nose, wheezing, etc... Anytime the allergin is in the air the person must make a HT roll. On a failure, all roll based on alertness (vision, smell, & hear) are at -4 while having an allergic reaction. In addition you must make a Will roll to not sneeze. On a critical failure of the HT roll, the character goes into a sneezing fit for 1d6 minutes. Skin contact allergies uually reult in eczema or hives. Thi will rarely affect game play but doe cause irritation. Allergic charaters musst make a HT roll or suffer -2 DX until they are away from the contact and scratch the affected area. In addition, if the area is visible, they lose one level of attractiveness. If the HT roll is failed critically, the character puffs up so bad they cannot see and barely breath. Ingested allergies are when the allergin enterss the body, like food, medicine, or bee stings. unles the character make a ht roll, they will vomitg (treat as being tunned for 15 turns, then roll vs. HT to recover), followed by diarrhea and nausea. If the HT roll is missed critically, the body becomes poissoned. thi can be fatal. the point cosst for this is the same even though it can be lethal due to the difference in contact. It i much eaier to avoid eating eggs than avoid cigarette smoke. The point value is based on how common the trigger. Very Common (sunlight, fluoridated water) -15 Common (hayfever, smoke, sugar) -10 Somewhat Common (bee sting, mold) -5 Rare (specific medicine, specific animals) -1 |
