Firstly here is a picture of my guitar. It is an Aslin Dane which were taken over by a company called Gould. So far I have used an approximate 3 packs of guitar strings on it and prefer to use an assortment between 0.10 and 0.46 as this gives me enough flexibility to play fast and accurately but still gives the sound a nice tone.

Here is my big amp. This is my Laney MXD65. I use this one most of the time as it has a really nice tone. I also have a 10 Watt practice amp which I use for my guitar lessons and always connect it up at home so that I can play in stereo. The tone on it is rather poor but it makes a good practice amp.

In this picture you can see a blue version of my guitar with the union jack design scratch plate. I am considering have this sprayed onto my existing scratch plate on my guitar. Robbie's Mum does spray painting and would be able to do it however if I do not like the design it would be awkward

I also have a mixing desk that my Dad made. We use this to record music to the computer. I always use this at home to play CD's, DVD's and drum rhythm's from the keyboard through. Below is a diagram showing how it works.

My main influences are Iron Maiden because of there interesting riffs and Yngwie Malmsteen because of his extreme Neo Classical style guitar playing. I practice my guitar from 1 to up to 3 hours a day and I mainly practice Malmsteen tunes. I am currently using 1.2mm plectrums but might start using thicker ones to increase the speed of my playing.
