We'd also like to recognize the efforts of longtime students Haislee Gillette for helping out with the Winterhaven after-school Kung Fu Club, and Danny Klink for assisting with the PPS Inservice Day Camps. Younger students appreciate when peers, or helpers closer to their own age help lead classes...and we appreciate the help!

Our first day camp [Oct 12th] was a big success; many thanks to guest instructor Ramman Turner from Multnomah Athletic Club and Capioera Regional.

We look forward to involving many more Mo Duk Pai students in helping with outreach efforts!

Oh, and Academy of Kung Fu student Wyeth Seidel agreed to help out with the Abernethy week-long Inservice Camp Nov 12-17th. We are very much looking forward to having Wyeth with us that week, and hope he can join in on the Portland Rock Gym outing that Fri, as he is well familliar with the space (the chaperones always get lots of turns climbing too).
