so i read this and it was a bit painful sometimes :) but i finished it and the story was very good. just curious, found some pics of people, and i was wondering if they're anything close to what you pictured Michael as looking like. :D I enjoyed this story so much... in fact, I'm sure it's all I'll be thinking about for the rest of the night x3. I have to say, I feel so sorry for Daniel, despite what he did, I think I may have even cried for him x3. By the end I think Jean somehow turned out to be one of my favorite characters, he just added so much to the story, made it all so great to read. I can remember during the times when it was just Michael and Sam and their families and friends and stuff, in the back of my mind I was just thinking "Where's, Jean? What's happening with Jean? When is he going to just DIE already?" Let's not forget Ricky, Ricky was the key to everything, without Ricky, there would be no Jean :o. No Jack... though, I'm not sure, but based on the summary I read of the 'What If' story, there is a Sam, correct? I've begun reading that as well, but right now I'm just to worked up over the other story... and of course, poor Daniel, and poor Julius of course. Dare I say it... poor Jean. Never liked Patrick.

You know what would be interesting, though? To hear about what happened after Ricky got out of prison, he'd only be 59 years old, correct? I don't know, I get the feeling from his character that he wouldn't give up, and he'd still come after Michael until someone finally killed the bastard xP. Or..(doubtingly) maybe he'd forget about it, actually get reformed? Again, I doubt it xD. I dunno, it was just a thought.

I loved the ending too. It's really been a while since I've read a story in which the ending was actually an endiung. Even in published books that I pick up from the library, they seem so unfinished, rushed even. Like there should have been more. But this one, this one ended so well, perfectly even. I simply loved every minute of it, amazing job! And I look forward to reading some of your others. Finding your fictionpress, and then your site, was the closest thing to a gold mine I've ever come across.
