SKI AND DESTROY!

The Peru Nordic Masters will be laying the smack down on the Lake Placid Loppet this Saturday... Skiers will be taking on the race in classic and skate categories, at both the 25 k and 50 k distance. Expected to attend are NYSSRA stars like Mike Wynn, Bob Maswick, and Mike White. White, who has been training in relative secrecy, plans to deliver a 50 km classic sledgehammer to the Olympic Sports Complex trails. Look for Chris "kick double-poltergeist" to bog down on the Porter Mt. Loops. Expect Joe Moore to bump his performance up to his typical frenetically fast February fury. And don't be surprised by strong showings from the likes of Steve Bailey and Jim Adams. Chris Rose promises to buy all the free beer at the post-race banquet. And, as usual, the Peru Nordic Masters will set up camp in the Loppet Wax Room deep in the bowels of the Mt Van Ho lodge... look for the PNMSP banner and flag... and above all else - SKI AND DESTROY!
